Assistant Archivist, Reference, American Heritage Center, University of Wyoming. Faculty Position. Reporting to the Reference Archivist, the Assistant Archivist assists researchers in the Reading Room, responds to research and information inquiries, aids scholars in finding materials appropriate to their research, and provides tours, bibliographic instruction, and historical research instruction to individuals and classes. The Assistant Archivist will also be responsible for other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Reference Archivist. Qualifications: Master of Arts in History, Humanities or Social Sciences, Master of Library Science, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional archival training and one year of professional experience in an archival setting, including reference, processing, or cataloging required. Salary: $21,000 - $25,000.
