RECORDS MANAGEMENT ANALYST 1
SALARY: $2,448 - 3,415 Monthly

GENERAL INFORMATION
This position is with the Secretary of State Archives Division in Salem,
Oregon. The Archives Division preserves the records of government and
authorizes prompt destruction of records which have no further value to
the State or its citizens. The Division makes records available to the
public and assists public officials with records problems.
The Records Management Analyst 1 manages public records and information,
conducts record and information inventories, prepares special and general
retention schedules, produces publication and/or instructional materials,
and consults on records media and storage, retrieval technology standards
and technical developments for the agency and political subdivision
personnel and the Archives Division.
TO QUALIFY
You must have:
A Master's Degree in history, public
administration, or archives and records administration; AND
One year of professional experience.

RECORDS MANAGEMENT ANALYST 2 (Senior Records Management Analyst)
SALARY: $2,820 - $3,943 Monthly

GENERAL INFORMATION
This position is with the Secretary of State Archives Division in Salem,
Oregon. The Archives Division preserves the records of government and
authorizes prompt destruction of records which have no further value to
the State or its citizens. The Division makes records available to the
public and assists public officials with records problems.
The Senior Records Management Analyst represents the Archives Division as
the principal records management consultant with state and local
government agencies, acts as team leader on complex records management
projects, and troubleshoots non-routine records management problems.
Records include information recorded electronically and on paper, film,
tape, or other media. The Senior Records Management Analyst helps state
and local government agencies develop solutions to non-routine records
management problems, advises on records management, standards and
technical developments, produces publication and instructional materials,
develops content for web-based training, and conducts analytical studies
for more complex projects.
TO QUALIFY
You must have:
A Master's Degree in history, public administration, or archives and
records administration; four
- years of professional experience; AND
Be a CRM (Certified Records Manager).
