New to List

Hello!
I have just joined the list and wanted to post a question for discussion. Sorry if I am repeating something that has already been "talked" about.
I work for a public television station that produces many accompanying web sites for our television shows. We have made several attempts to burn CD's in order to save websites but this doesn't seem real practical for long-term storage. Especially since we are concerned about all the various parts of the sites - graphics, still images, video clips, sound clips, text and links. Our sites change often or disappear after the current production's life so we are looking for a way to "rebuild" them from the pieces, if possible.
Has anyone been archiving web sites or developed a method for capturing their content for long-term storage?
Thank you for any advice you can give!
