Re: archive reading room

Interesting situation.
My first question is : "Do you have any usage statistics?" (that is divide
users into two groups let say 'stock agency' and 'archives'. How many stock
agency users are there versus archives users?)

Second Question: Which user group generates the most income?

Third Question: What complaints have you received from either group
concerning, let's say access, noise, heat/air conditioning, etc.

These are just a few questions that need to be answered before a solution
can be developed.

Surveys and questionnaires are the lifeblood of customer service as such the
subscribers to this list might be interested in the following website.
www.zoomerang.com

this website allows you to develop your own surveys, will collect and
tabulate your results, etc. To see one in operation go to SAA's website and
take the e-commerce survey. that is how I found out about the service. I
find it easy to use and best of all it is free.
I am currently developing two surveys and I only started them yesterday.
