Summer intern, Wash. DC international
library/archives:

Current students of library and information science,
or related history and archival studies, who have an
interest in international finance, business,
economics, government, or law, may apply for a full
time paid summer intern opportunity at the
Export-Import Bank of the United States.  The selected
intern will serve in the research library and
archives, but also participate with other Ex-Im Bank
interns in a planned program of seminars and learning
events in Washington DC in the summer of 2000.

Examples of possible projects include the production
of web-based finding aids or guides for archival
documents, current reference materials, or online
databases.  Practical day-to-day experience providing
reference services, database instruction, or
collection development are also possible.

The deadline to apply is March 17th; employment can be
between June 1 and August 31, 2000.
