Re: Rav Raklur - this is interesting



I don't know about a pistol, but in 1890(ish) the New Mexico State Capitol
building caught on fire, and a janitor rushed in and out of the building
saving all the state records (mostly large ledger books and wooden boxes of
the old Spanish records).  Considered a hero, he and his decendents worked
for the State for years.  His great grandson worked for the State Records
Center and Archives from the day it opened in 1961 until he retired.
Needless to say, he had a very proprietary view about anything that was done
with or to the archive records that his great grandfather had saved.
