Temporary closure at Boise State University



    Between May 1 and June 18, during the installation of compact mobile shelving, the archives and manuscript collections in the Special Collections Department of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, will not be available for research.
    Among the collections affected by this temporary closure are the papers of U.S. Senators Frank Church and Len B. Jordan, Idaho Governor and US Secretary of the Interior Cecil D. Andrus, Congressman Larry LaRocco, conservationist-author Ted Trueblood, filmmaker Nell Shipman, and explorer-photographer Robert Limbert; along with the archives of the Episcopal Diocese of Idaho, the Idaho Writers Archive (literary manuscripts),  photo morgue of the Idaho Statesman newspaper, and numerous other collections.
    Service for rare books and Idahoana held in the Special Collections Department will NOT be disrupted during the installation period.
