I agree with Joy's concern. One reason for changing the 'in the news' was
that they could be too large for some members email systems (even though AOL
is pretty restrictive on email size).

I have also noted that increasingly attachments are being sent to the list in
violation of the rules and netiquette. This is especially disturbing
considering that this list more than the others that I subscribe to has been
repeatedly hit by postings that contained a virus infected attachment.

Let me suggest that if you have announcement that either you -- the sender
--- place it in the body of your email or at least provide an url/link that
will take us to some website that will contain the information.
