Re: Inmagic/Access and linking images



I think I understand, but what I meant to say was that it appears that with
Access, 2+2 equals 5....For instance we have about 500 images at roughly
10,000 bytes per image, and the database weighs in at well over 100 MB.  Who
knew?  I still can't figure out how that many images and just plain text can
add up that high.

Because photos take a comparatively enormous number of bytes to store -
there is lots more info in a photo file than in a text file - ergo, your
database file will grow "disproportionately" as you say.
