Data Capture and Processing Project Research Resources

Information Management Professionals,

In response to the high level of interest in our research
publication and online directories, we have created a
registration form for special access to a full section of the
research content, which will enable readers to experience
the utility and benefits of this unique research tool. Additional
information about the scope and depth of research content
for imaging technology projects has also been included
for your review. This information can be found in the ?more
about the research publication? link on the URL given below.

If electronic and, or optical (including film types) data capture
and processing to image databases for retrieval and workflow is a
consideration at your facility, you?ll want to get this information.
You should also know that, projects that involve digital records
image database design, and physical records to digital conversion
processes are becoming increasingly dependent upon the
skills of professional information managers and their staff.
This requirement demands that information managers
(and the administrative and managerial professionals they support)
are aware and knowledgeable of the specialized core
competencies necessary for the success of business and
government imaging projects done in-house and/or accomplished
via an imaging service bureau outsourcing relationship.

We have also made our directories of available technology
OEMs and imaging service bureaus freely accessible online
for conducting one of many required phases of imaging
technology project research: the identification and
qualification of available technologies and production
imaging capabilities.

Information managers and their peers are invited to use these
directories and investigate the scope of the full research
content of the publication at:
