Re: Loan Items

The American Association for Museums has a rather standard
form, I think, that serves as an agreement. We do loan things
from the archives provided the agreement specifies insurance,
temperature/humidity control, storage and display conditions
(e.g. no tampering with our item or doing anything to harm it
but, it can be re-framed if done intact), etc.

I am interested in finding out what procedures/restrictions other archives
have when and if they loan archival items to other museums or organizations.

Thanks for the information in advance!
