westwest vs eastwest (libraries)
Hmm, I find this rather problematic...partly because I would take some issue against the 'easternmost' in North America vs. Portugal (i.e. Continental Europe). I would presume the eastern most (largish) libary in North America to be in St. John's, Newfoundland. But if you are speaking of Europe, should we not put a library in Reykjavik before one in Lisbon?

Dear Listservers:
At my Lib. Sc. school we are having a debate on where
the most "eastern" library in North America is. It
seems as if I recall someone on this listserv signing
their email messages from the "last library before you
reach Portugal." Am I losing my mind or is there a
listserv member who does this?
