Re: RAIN 07/14

In today's posting there was a story about a man buying a bill of sale
signed by Buffalo Bill. The story contained the following passage;

..."He said the item in his collection of which he is most proud is one of
the
original documents signed by Lyndon B. Johnson on Air Force One on Nov. 22,
1963, shortly after President John F. Kennedy had been assassinated in
Dallas.
The document is Johnson's official acceptance of the presidential office.
"...

Another reader has asked me if the LBJ document could be considered a
federal document? Any comments from the folks within NARA? or at the LBJ
Library?

thanks
