show me the money (and the dress, the limo, the chair and the bed )

In light of the unraveling "pink dress" thread (sorry, couldn't resist)
regarding the appropriateness of exhibiting items related to a tragedy,
today's Chicago Tribune's article on the theft of a Titanic relic from the
Museum of Science & Industry reads in part:

"The exhibit has not been without critics...who believe disturbing the wreck
in the first place was sacrilegious..."

"Nonetheless, the exhibit, which remains open despite the theft and will run
through Labor Day, has been a phenomenal success for the museum. So far,
550,000 people have visited it, increasing the museum's attendance by 31
percent over last year's."
