Decatur House Needs Help with Photos

The Decatur House Museum is looking for photos of the
Decatur House façade taken between 1839 and 1871 to
help in our upcoming restoration project. We would
like you to look through your photo archives for
photos of Decatur House with special attention to your
Civil War archives. Decatur House was commandeered by
the US Army during the Civil War and housed the
departments of Subsistence and Clothing. You can
access our website at www.decaturhouse.org for photos
of Decatur House.
