Cat Haiku
shared the dog haikus with my brother who (as can be seen by the following)
is not a dog lover, he in turn shared the following with me. Since I will be
offline and on hiatus starting Wednesday I am posting this well in advance
of Friday.
I see the dog come
Evil Thing Evil Thing there
Hsst Hsst I run away
Beautiful birds
Red and Yellow Perch on tree
Cherry and Lemon taste good
Yawn Snooze Sleep away
Is master Here?
Master must feed me.
Master Hear Yowling
Evil Dog invade
Must banish dog
Open Door Open Door
Must see if world is there
Never Mind Never Mind
Yes you are mine
Yes you must feed me
Hsst Spit, don't touch me
Roll and Sniff
Sheer delight
Ah catnip
and finally an ancient proverb:
Dog is man's best friend; but,
man is cat's best friend.
