Archives and mystery

How about if some of you talented people put your heads together (electronically if necessary) and come up with an archival mystery for next year's SAA in Washington. Maybe a play - or at least a reading would be fun.

One of the funniest mysteries I have read is one written by several well-known writers, with each one doing a chapter and picking up where the last one left off. (Sorry I can't remember the title and our catalog is down right now.)

But, please don't make the archivist a crusty old man. How about an athletic, svelte woman in her 40s, who manages to get tenure and write widely-acclaimed articles and books, while raising several children, doing charitable work, and running marathons.
