In Memoriam--Liz Holum Johnson, Archivist, H. B. Fuller Corporati on



      Elizabeth Mary Holum Johnson, age 43 of Lake Elmo, MN died on October
24, 2000 of breast cancer. Liz was born January 20, 1957, in Minneapolis,
MN, the eldest daughter of John and Mary Holum. She grew up in Minneapolis,
and graduated from Minnehaha Academy (1975), St. Olaf College (B.A., 1979),
and Colorado State University (M.A. 1981). She married Daniel Thomas Johnson
on August 9, 1986. She worked in historic preservation for the Minnesota
Historical Society and as the Records Manager and then the Archivist for
H.B. Fuller Corporation. She was active in the Society of American
Archivists, serving a term as President of its Business Archives Section.
She was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Mahtomedi. Preceded in
death by her mother and her grandparents. Survived by her husband, Dan and
two children, Sara (10) and Ryan (7); by her father; by two sisters and
their families, Ann Holum (Alex Kass) of Chicago and Kathryn Holum (Glenn
Baron and Marlee) of St. Paul; by one uncle, Gilbert Holum of Portland, OR;
by three aunts, Kathryn Strom (Pr. Herbert Strom) of Bozeman, MT, Barbara
Mattill of Edina, and Phyllis Mattill of Hopkins; by cousins, David Strom
(and Katje Heide, Johannes and Robin) of Eugene, OR, Timothy Strom (and Pam
and Liza) of St. Paul, Jonathan Strom (Siri Olson and Solveig) of Gottingen
Germany. Survived also by parents-in-law, Tom and Sharon Johnson and by many
other close family members, nieces, nephews, and friends. Memorial service
Fri,     Oct. 27, 2 p.m. at ST ANDREWS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 900 Stillwater Road,
Mahtomedi, following private burial at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Visitation from 4 to 8 PM, Thurs, Oct. 26, at the HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM NORTH
CHAPEL, 515 Hwy 96 W., Shoreview, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials to
donor's choice. In prolonged sickness and in health Liz was a caring,
spirited, and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, thankful to
all those who supported her and her family, and blessed with a strong faith
