Featured Speaker:

MATTHEW DRUTT
Associate Curator of Research
Guggenheim Museum, NY

Matthew Drutt has been Associate Curator for Research at the Guggenheim
Museum since 1993, where he is responsible for collection-based projects
and publications and serves as the lead curatorial advisor on photography
and new media initiatives.  He has organized numerous exhibitions there,
including "Temple of the Spirit: Frank Lloyd Wright's Designs for the
Guggenheim Museum" (1994), "Mediascape" (1996), "Max Beckman in Exile"
(1996), "Brandon: A One-Year Narrative in Installments" (1998),
"Photography: An Expanded View" (1999-2000), and "Amazons of the
Avant-Garde: Six Russian Artists" (1999-2000).  He established the
Guggenheim's web site (www.guggenheim.org) in 1995, and served as its
project director through 1999.  He is currently overseeing the development
of the Guggenheim Virtual Museum, a web-based Geuggenheim institution,
being designed by Asymptote Architects, New York.

Mr. Drutt's most recent publications include, "The Justin K. Thannhauser

"Susan Lipper: Trip" (New York/London: Powerhouse Books, 1999), "The Art of
the Motorcycle" (New York: Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, 1998), "Motorcycle
Mania: The Biker Book" (New York: Guggenheim Museum and Universe
Publications, 1998), and "Visions of Paris: Robert Delaunay's Series"
(Berlin: Deutsche Guggenheim Berlin and New York: Solomon R. Guggenheim
Museum 1998).
