Need help in finding... (book restoration)

Jan Sobota is in the rarefied category of "fine binder" - as a matter of fact, a new job classification was authorized by the Immigration & Naturalization Service to accommodate him when he immigrated (talk about a rare thing!). He is one of the best artists at book restoration in the whole world. You may have other book binders in Texas who might be more appropriate to restore a regular modern book, and perhaps be more economical to hire.

I know of 3 websites that might help:
The Center for Book Arts (New York City) at <http://www.minsky.com/cba.htm> I think has a list of people they have trained.

The Conservation DistList is a great resource for not only bookbinding, but related fields: <http://palimpsest.stanford.edu/>.

You can find incredible resources under "Links" on the website of the Canadian Bookbinder & Book Artists Guild at <http://www.cbbag.ca/>.
