Daniel,
(and any other health care archivists out there)

Come on over to the Sci-Tech-Health-Care Roundtable, and our listserv STCH-L!
To subscribe, send a message to <listproc@library.ucla.edu> with nothing in
the subject line, and the body of the message saying:

SUBSCRIBE STHC-L <your name> <your institution>

It's a low-traffic listserv, but you'll find almost all of the posts are
relevant!

You might also want to join Archivists and Librarians in the History of the
Health Sciences. See the web site at
<http://www.library.ucla.edu/libraries/biomed/alhhs/>

If you're a novice to medical archives, you might want to get the following 2
books, both available through SAA:

Joan Krizack. Documentation Planning for the U.S. Healthcare System.

Nancy McCall and Lisa A. Mix. Designing Archival Programs to Advance Knowledge
in the Health Fields.

Best of luck in your new position!
