Censorship & Libraries

So, which is worse - having folks complain about the materials in your
library, or not wanting your library there in the first place?!! Attitude
seems incomprehensible :(

GRAYSON Roy Seagraves dropped out of school in eighth grade and pulls down
$800 a week working in a factory that makes plastic bumper guards for cars.
He admits he doesn't do much reading and says the Bible, a set of
encyclopedias and the few magazines he keeps around the house are all he
needs.
Seagraves says he's survived just fine all his life in this Eastern
Kentucky
county without a library, and he doesn't see a need to spend the tax
dollars
to build one now.
``Us rural people out here would benefit very little from it,'' he said.
``I'm paying taxes out the rear end already.''
