Minolta PS3000 / EPIC 3000 fro Windows Version 1.50

We use Minolta's Epic 3000 software with a Minolta PS3000 scanner and we
have two problems, which I'm hoping someone can help us with.

First, we have a list of batches in the software that have somehow lost
their definition files, which means I cannot select the batches to delete
them. Is there a workaround I can employ that will enable me to delete
those batches?

Second, when we save batches, the software apparently assigns random
filenames to the TIFF files, and we would like instead to assign sequential
filenames for each TIFF file (e.g. 01.tif, 02.tif, 03.tif, and so on). How
might we configure the software to enable sequential filenaming of batches?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
