Internet resources for archival description

(Sorry if you are subscribed to Rcmgmt too, for the cross posting)

Dear all,

I have been asked to prepare a paper about how useful could be Internet
in the archival description and which web sites are useful tools for the
documentary description. For example, the perpetual calendar
(http://www.calendarhome.com/) , thesauri (http://www.thesaurus.com/),
data bases, etc.

I would like to know your opinion and experience on which class of sites
is or can be useful in the work of documentary description.

I would much also apprecite any site that you can reccomend to me.

Thank you very much in advance.

A kind greeting
