Re: Licensing fee for film

We have a collection of circus footage that we license at a rate of $300 per
minute when used by for-profit companies for a single use. A single use is
considered ONLY for broadcast or ONLY for video or ONLY for CD-Rom. We
double the fee for two uses. When three or more formats will be produced,
the fee is 2.5 times the single use rate. The minimum fee is $300, after
which we license by the second.

We only license using our Image Use Authorization form. It was approved by
the Attorney General's office, as our collections are owned by the State of
Wisconsin. I'd be happy to send you a copy of the form which includes our
fees.
