Re: Re-hydration chamber...



Years ago we had thousands, yup thousands, of rolled maps to flatten.
Humidifying them passivly (the old trash can in a trash can trick) would
have taken years, so we converted an old vault. We brought in some baker's
racks and used two humidifiers. The room had a cement floor and walls and
no ventilation, so we obtained over 95% RH easily. For flattening and
drying, we used plexi sheets on 3' x 6' tables and blotters.
