Re: just out of curiosity



A euphonium looks like a small tuba, but plays in the same range as a
trombone; you can think of it almost like a baritone horn.  The
association you refer to has local chapters around the country.  Members
get together and give concerts of 4-part music, with the euphoniums taking
the upper two parts (alto and soprano).  All this is courtesy of my sister
who actually plays a euphonium.
