Re: The superpedant replies



Please, stop the offenses because of my reply.
Ethel is right saying the word is greek.
Eric is right saying it is late latin.
The root of the word is greek. But the sufix is latin. That's why the plural
is formed in the latin way and not the greek way. I was partly right, too.
OK ?
