Re: US Signal Corps- W.W.II Motion Picture & Photographic Coverage

The correct agency to contact is the National Archives, College Park, MD.  Both the motion picture section and the still photo section have the WW II work done by Signal Corps photographers ( Record Gourp 111SC) as well as the work done by US Navy photographers (RG 80G) and USMC and USCG ( whose RGs I can't recall off hand).

Adrian,
Try the Motion Picture, Broadcasting & Recorded Sound Division at the Library of Congress.  Located in Madison Building, Washington, DC.

Dear Colleagues,

I am seeking sources of information on the above, with especial regard to the activities of motion picture cameramen and combat photographers.

Please advise me if your institution holds any records, whether formal or personal, in regard to this topic.

Thanks,

Adrian Wood
