Hi; the Mesa Room of the Mesa (AZ) Public Library became the repository of
documents of Williams Field/Williams Air Force Base. Though our collection of
base newspapers ("Jet Trails"/"Jet Gazette"/"Wings") begins in 1949, we do hold
an extensive "yearbook" collection, produced by classes of graduating airmen
(there were up to ten "classes" rotating through the desert base at a time),
starting in 1943 and ending in 1987 ("Wings" ceased in 1992; Williams was closed
soon afterwards and returned to the City of Mesa). Just getting the word out!
