Query: Procedures for disaster plan re: water-soaked r.c. boxes & halon discharge

**********Please excuse cross-postings**********

Questions Related to Creating a Disaster Plan:
1. Has anyone had experience with removing records center and archives
boxes which have water damage? How well do they withstand ceiling drips;
just having the bottoms soaked; and having the entire box submerged? What
types of equipment/containers do one use with respect to moving them off
shelves and into containers to be freeze dried?
2. Has anyone had the experience of a halon system discharge? How vigorous
is it and to what degree does material blow off shelves?
3. Has anyone had experience with water damage and/or halon discharge when
using mobile shelving?

Thank you for your help with this.
