Anglo-Irish Economic Relations 1939-45
I am currently researching Irish men who travelled to Britain during the
second World War to fill the void in the employment left by the British men
who had gone to war. I am researching how the money sent back to their
Irish families and how this improved their standard of living and led to a
decline for the demand for poor/charity relief. I would appreciate any
advice on availabilty of sources on this topic.
