Re: Hollywood film crews (warning: semi-rant!)
My only very slight brush with Hollywood was during part-time work at Union
Theological Seminary here in NY, where they repeatedly filmed "Law & Order"
episodes. From what I understand, the crew was very nice, particularly the
actors.
I had the good fortune to be working in one of those no windows, no light,
nothing architecturally redeeming rooms in a far-off corner, so they never
went near the doors. I think the rare books storage was also way out of the
way, so the collections were mostly unaffected.
On another note, Roy, I had no idea the word "fershluggener" was in common
use in Utah.
Hang in there, and watch as their cinematic masterpiece heads right to
Blockbuster's "never rented" section.
