Re: request for "road trip" songs
Variants?
What's that classic 40's torch song, esp by Sinatra..."I took a trip on a
train, and I thought about you...."
(I thought about you is the refrain & title?)
then there's "Chattanooga Choo-choo", and the still-catchy "On the Atchison
Topeka & The Santa Fe" and "the Trolley Song" made wonderful by Garland...
Then there's all the airliner "road songs" ... Was it the New Christie
Minstrels with "I'm Leavin (on a jet plane)" ???
Kevin ("Hit the Road, Jack, and don'tcha' come back no more, no more!")
