Re: Use of scanned images on a website



Oops, just realized I hit the reply key and did not respond to the entire

A couple points you might want to think about are
1) Will the images be used for a limited amount of time or indefinitely?
You might want to take that into account when setting a pricing policy.
2) If you are concerned about others downloading and re-using the photo
that will be on this website, you should specify a maximum resolution,
i.e., image quality that is acceptable, but that won't encourage free
"borrowings" for commercial applications.

Good morning!

One of our clients wants to use images from our collection on his website.
Is this usually handled like any other situation in which images are to be
published, with one-time usage rights and the like, or do other
considerations come into play here?
