Re: Road Songs

Well it looks like Road Songs has joined the list of other great discussions
that have taken place on this list such as Best BBQ in the country
(mouthwatering), hushpuppies, you name it.

This list traditionally has, at least once a year, if not twice a year a
totally off the wall discussion that has nothing even remotely tangentially
related to the archival profession. However this particular discussion or
rather listing has had some benefit in that the archivists for both the Jim
Henson Productions (home of Kermit, Miss Piggy, the Swedish Chef and many
others) and the Guthrie Foundation were "forced" to post information to the
list.

We were also provide with links to two websites where one can search to
one's heart's content for lyrics that bring back memories of better times to
us rapidly aging folks. Shoot I even learned the title of an ancient Spanish
pilgrim's song (thanks Denis!).

As someone once wrote; "this too shall pass"
