Men who worked on the San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge

Hi, list!

I just got a request from Caltrans' Public Affairs Dept. that
I need your help with. A PBS reporter wants to talk to any
men who actually worked on the San Francisco - Oakland
Bay Bridge in the 1930's when that beautiful structure was
being built.

I know that so much time has passed that it may be quite
difficult to find anyone, but I thought I would try asking the
list. I have already called one of the locals of the Ironworkers
Union, and one of their men is calling various locals around the
country, because the ironworkers "boomed" around the country,
going where bridges were being built. Those men could have
settled down anywhere in the country..

I would really appreciate any help any of you can give me.

Thank you!
