responses re: comb bindings

to summarize for the list, the responses to my comb binding question (about
6 total) were overwhelmingly to get rid of them before they, (a) become a
problem when they begin to fall apart, (b) take up room that one needs for
other things or (c) cause damage to the paper because the binding tends to
make the paper sit improperly in the folder. further, it was noted that the
chemical compostion of the bindings is such that it's unclear how it may
affect the paper the bindings are next to.

that being said, on the keep them side was an excellent point that the
binding does keep pages in order if they are frequently used and they keep
the reports from winding up in disarray.
