Re: Comic Book Archive
Julie,
Ohio State University and Michigan State University both have comics
collections encompassing many genres, but MSU's collection contains a good
deal more in the way of comic books. OSU's main emphasis is on comic
strips, editorial cartoons, and illustrations from newspapers and other
periodicals; its comic book collection is representative, not
comprehensive. See
http://www.lib.msu.edu/coll/main/spec_col/nye/comic/index.htm for
information about MSU's holdings, and
http://www.lib.ohio-state.edu/OSU_profile/cgaweb/SFACA/index.html for
OSU. Bowling Green State University has a tremendous popular culture
collection, which includes a substantial number of comic books: see
http://www.bgsu.edu/colleges/library/pcl/pcl14.html.
