It can be a tough call, I realize, and I wouldn't presume to offer
guidance in any particular case--but it's also always worth
remembering that now and in the future, social and cultural historians
will continue to depend on just such serendipitous preservation of
ostensibly insignificant materials to shed light on important areas of
the past.
