Photograph paper

Hi all!

I have just a few quick questions to ask.

- I just went to the photo lab where we get most of our work done & picked
up a flier on Fujifilm's Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper that is supposed to
resist fading & keep colors more vibrant for a longer period of time. Has
anyone heard of this stuff? Is this a true claim or just another ploy to get
people to pay more by tacking the term 'archival' to it? :)

- I thought I read an email a while back that said the photohist listserv
was no longer around. Is this true? Is there another good listserv for
professionals dealing with photo preservation?

Thanks so much for your help! :)
