For getting boxes off the floor, I've used plastic cartons of the
type dairies use to deliver containers of milk. Several years ago
Staples sold a green plastic crate, about 16x11x11, SKU #253948,
which is slightly smaller than many of the genuine, dairy-owned
crates. A standard records carton...or a short stack of records
cartons... stands on the bottom of either crate. Any
organization with a restaurant operation probably has plenty of
the dairy-owned crates on premises.
