Waxed Floors

We have tiles in our archives vault. They have to be stripped and
rewaxed every several years. Just make sure that boxes and loose items
are removed from the botton shelves, and discuss with the miantenance
staff the importance of being careful not to splatter wax/stripper along
the bottom shelves. This happened to us a number of years ago; I had to
replace fifteen or so acid-free boxes. I am assuming that you will be
in the vault to monitor the cleaning crew while it works around your
valuable materials.
