Part-time Archival position in Central New York

Regional Archivist and Coordinator of the DHP for the Central New York Library Resources Council
                                  
Major Duties:
        Responsible for program administration, including preparing 
work plans, budgets and reports, and provision of New York State 
Documentary Heritage Program (DHP) regional advisory services in 
Central New York. Activities include providing training in historical 
records management techniques, providing publicity for the DHP and the 
importance of historical records management, providing advice and 
assistance on the development and strengthening of historical records 
programs. Regional Archivist works in consultation with the CLRC 
Executive Director, the CLRC Regional DHP Advisory Committee, and 
the New York State Archives. Some travel required. Additional

Qualifications:
        Bachelor's degree in History or related field required; Master's 
degree in archival administration, library science, history or a related field 
strongly preferred. Knowledge of current archival standards and 
practices. Experience in working with historical records. Excellent oral 
and written skills. Familiarity with use and development of World Wide 
Web resource for historical records preferred.

Salary Range: 

Half time position: $15,000 minimum with excellent benefits.
