Re: Certification

"ARMA uses a similar method for recertification, as I understand it. "

ARMA International does not provide professional certification.  The testing for the certified records manager (CRM) designation is provided by the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) an independent accredited certifying body. The ICRM is over 25 years old and there are more than 850 CRMs world wide. The ICRM is run by volunteers and is independent of ARMA International. The process consists of six exams of which the first 5 are multiple choice. The final exam is made up of case studies it can not be taken until the first 5 exams have been passed.
