Library job announcement

Title: ARCHIVES Digest - 14 Oct 2001 to 15 Oct 2001 (#2001-288)
The following job announcement is a bit off target for this list, but I thought some folks would be interested.  The Research Division collections includes a depository library of state agency publications, including historical items dating from the Territorial days.  A full federal depository library, with a lot of historical materials there, too.

In addition to the Law and Research Library Division, the Arizona State Library, Archives, and Public Records also includes the State Archives, Records Management Division, the Capitol Museum, the Development Division, and the Braille and Talking Book Library.  Speaking from personal experience, the Library has many challenges, but it offers a very positive work environment with opportunities for professional development and continuing education.

Not to mention, you don't have to shovel sunshine.  (Too bad we're not posting this in February :^)

The Library

The Research Library is one of two libraries within the Law and Research Library Division of the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records (the other library in the division is the State Law Library). Focal collections in the Research Library include the regional federal depository, Arizona state publications, genealogy, and maps. These collections are supplemented with supporting materials in the reference collection and with subscriptions to several electronic databases.
