Some months ago our museum was offered a collection
of materials that once belonged to a home economics teacher from a neighboring
city. The collection did not fit within our museum collection, however I
did offer to help the owner find a home for the items. I have found
appropriate repositories for some of the items, but am still trying to place the
rest of the items.
If you are interested in some of the items, please
contact me. We ask that you pay for shipping. The actual donation
would be from the donor, not our museum, and I will supply that information to
you if you are interested in any of the items for your collection.
The owner would like the items to find a home, but did not require that the
collection all go to one repository, so if one or two items would be appropriate
to your institution, that would be fine.
You'll find the list below-- please read the whole
list if you think you might be interested in something-- it's a quite a varied
collection!
Thank You.
