Re: TV and Archives

Yah... it wasn't bad - the chief investigator (who always reminds me of
William Shatner) made some remarks about temperature and humidity control,
etc, by way of establishing the background. But the Historical Society staff
were all a bunch of oddballs - the philandering, pompous-ass curator, his
beautiful conservator (who was also making forgeries and selling the
original on the side) and the autistic library assistant who had a perfect
memory for scenes, textures, and lines from Shakespeare.

What I want to know is - why was the conservator using a rollerball pen
while working on the extremely rare books?

Dean - you should also know this - the conservator was trying to kill the
curator...

I've had a few people tell me about a CSI episode last week
that dealt with a murder in Special Collections. They said the
"curator" was running around yelling about fingerprint dust
among the rare books, use of bright lights/flash photography
in the stacks, etc. I was told they thought of me with this
character...ahem. Anyone see this episode?
