Re: Arrangement for a MS collection



I had a similar collection for a family and you could clearly see
the lines between those papers of the grandfather, the daughter
and her husband, and their nephews.   In addition, there was
an almost separate collection for several brothers/sisters of
either the grandfather or the son-in-law.    I arranged the
collection by the person, and their records then chronological
or by type as necessary with a long family history note at the
front of the finding aid.
