Friday Funny slightly early
I finished putting up my "World War II, Food, and the CIA" [i.e.,
Culinary Institute of America] exhibit and opened it on Tuesday.
Yesterday one of the writing teachers was looking at it in
anticipation of bringing in a class and having them do writing
projects based on it. She pointed out to me that, with my culinary
orientation, I had made a slight misspelling, turning a military
operation of the early 1990s into "Dessert Storm" (and my husband was
there, too!). We decided that this would make a great theme for a
culinary event.
This just proves that even with proofreading three times, one can
still miss errors!
